Today I had to start taking my pain medication, which you need to start 2 days before surgery. Thursday morning at 7 AM I have to check in at Cedar Sinai for the ACL Replacement Surgery on my right knee.

I'm glad the move is over, and now I'm walking as much as I can to enjoy my pre-op condition. Yesterday I did some shopping with Gift Cards I received (it's the best quilt free shopping: H&M was happy to see me). Tonight I have a Networking/Holiday Party at the home of the Dutch Consul General for Arts and Culture, tomorrow I'm planning on going to work really early to be able to leave early and go hiking one more time with Sierra at Runyon Canyon. I'm now not going to look at the estimated times of recovery, because I'm going to set my mind to a speedy but responsible recovery. Of course I will follow my surgeon's and Physical Therapist instructions, but I will do everything in my power to get back to being active again asap!
