Back in town

It doesn't really feel like I'm back yet. Sunday was just a haze, and I felt so off. Today is better, and I went through all my mail, and took care of things that needed immediate attention. At 3:30pm I have an appointment with my doctor to talk about the future of my knee. It's been holding up pretty well in Europe, and I've been doing lots of walking, biking and swimming. We'll see.

Not much to report. It's hard to give an update of a month in Europe. When someone asks me, it's difficult to give a summary of all we've done, seen, and experienced in The Netherlands and Greece. I'll post some pictures over the next couple of days, but I'm still waiting for pictures of others to make a complete album.

So, I'm back. Anyone who can help me finding a job, please drop a note. I'll do anything, cause I need it. If you see a posting somewhere at Trader Joes or something, please let me know! Oh, yeah, in LA only, please.

Tomorrow I'm picking up Sierra! Can't wait to have her back home!

Another day...

Another hot day in The Netherlands! It's the warmest month here since 1920! Two years ago when I was here in September, that was also the warmest September since the 1930s. You read that, Mr. President? That's called Global Warming!

It's our last day in Europe:(... We starting to pack our bags, and then we have the rest of the day to spend with my parents, sitting outside having a beer on the lake shore, and eat some good fresh fish! Tomorrow morning we leave Schiphol airport to fly to LA through Detroit. In January I also flew to Detroit and I had the worst Immigrations experience ever!

When I get back to LA, I will post some pictures of our trip, but I'll post a few samples now to give you a taste of how fantastic our trip has been.

Okay, back to the States...back to reality...

The Netherlands

Now, I'm on vacation, so I don't wanna sit behind a computer for too long, but I couldn't resist to give a sign of the good life from Europe!

Yesterday we arrived back in Amsterdam after a 9 day trip to the Island of Paros in Greece, where we vacacioned with CTo, Gisele, and some other friends of friends. It was awesome but tiring, especially after taking a horrible night boot from Paros to Athens Thursday night, 9 hours of walking like two zombies through Athens, and two flights to get back into Amsterdam.

The first two weeks in Amsterdam were absolutely great! Everyone of my family and friends love Peter, and all we did was sit in the park, and meet friends for drinks and food. The weather is incredible, even heatwave going on right now.

After a night at my parents place last night, we're once again packing our bag to leave for Amsterdam till Thursday, then back to my parents and next week Saturday, we're leaving on a jet plane back to LA. I'm honestly scared to death when I think of returning to LA, cause I have no money, no job, and a knee surgery to return to...

Oh, well, guess I need a lot of drinking and some other Amsterdam "stuff" to forget about all of that!
